I am currently a full time 7th grade LA teacher for Lancaster City Schools, and a EdD student in the Educational Administration program with a special focus on rural education. I also write contributing articles for Teaching Tolerance's daily blog.

Curriculum for pre-service teachers in rural areas
Professional development for rural educators
Teaching environmental justice in rural areas--including resource extraction, it's uses, and the way it affects local residents and land
Representation of rural people in multicultural studies
*I also have a particular interest in Dysart Woods, which is a tract of virgin forest located in Belmont County and owned an operated by OU,. It includes approximately 400 additional acres of farm land. My family and extended family served as caretakers of the woods from the 1960s until 2004.
